    Oh I loved this book It really was even better and tighter than the first Pea book which I adored full of delicious humor and wonderful family interactions and oh did I empathize with poor Pea in her main dilemma Having always planned to be a writer like her mum she suddenly gets a new English teacher who humiliates her and convinces her that she was foolish ever to even dream of that I actually cried at the climax of that storyline so wel

    Really lovely series I really enjoyed this instalment looking at future plans of the young characters and the ideas about being open the possibilities before them being endless As always I love the diverse characters and the way they are presented in the story Just fab

    Loved this divine little book perfect for younger readers that like family stories along the lines of Jacueline Wilson the worst thing about my sister etc type stories This reminded me very much of a younger Casson Family story

    I highly recommend all the series about Pea and her family My preteen daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about this uirky but realistic family Susie Day writes with humour but also cleverly covers deep and difficult life and family issues in a heartwarming non traumatic way
